This tropical evergreen tree is native to regions including Sri Lanka, Madagascar, the Comoro Islands, South India, Burma, and Indochina. The inner bark of the new shoots is carefully gathered and dried to produce this superior oil with a sweet, warm-spicy, and dry aroma.
